Email in the web browser

You may use your UiB e-mail from any web browser.

Log on

start.uib.no

- for all students (as of the autumn term 2020) and for employees with a Exchange Online e-mail (gradually all employees will have this).

kalender.uib.no

- for employees with a UiB Outlook/Exchange account.

webmail.uib.no

- for employees without an Outlook/Exchange account.

If you are uncertain which e-mail service to use, please try them in the order listed above.

About Start.uib.no and Kalender.uib.no

Kalender.uib.no (Outlook Web Access) may be used by everyone who has Outlook/Exchange e-mail. If your account is on Exchange Online, you will be redirected to a different site (start.uib.no). If you know that you have Exchange Onløine, it will be easier to go directly to start.uib.no.

Email, calendar, tasks and contacts are the same as in Outlook, Evolution or Entourage.

About Webmail.uib.no

Webmail.uib.no provides access to email, calendar and contacs for employees with an Exchange/Outlook account.

The calendar and contacts in Webmail are not connected to Mi Side or Outlook.
