Even though there is good expertise on Unix at the IT department, anyone can clearly see that UiB is very Microsoft-centric and apparently likes to lock itself in into more and more proprietary technologies. My sporadic contributions on this wiki are meant for better computing for UiB's employees and students, and an attempt to ending up in only a 1984ish distopia instead of much worse.
