Phishing attack June 2018
Wednesday, 20 June 2018 UiB received the biggest phishing attach we have experienced so far.
Most employees at UiB received an e-mail with a link to a web page where user name and password should be enteret, allegedly to receive halted incoming e-mail:
If you received this e-mail but did not click the link, you don't have to do anythin about it. Just delete the e-mail.
If you followed the link, you would come to a page looking like a log-on page:
If you enter your user name and password here, they will be taken by the criminals who organized this campaign. You need to change your password as soon as possible. and not use the old password again.
Pleas use another computer for changing your password. Password change is done at sebra.uib.no.
If you clicked the link, arrived at the page but did not enter Hvis du har klikket på lenken og kommet til siden, men ikke skrevet inn passord, trenger du ikke foreta deg noe.
