New mobile telephone operator.
As the whole higher education sector changes telecom operator from Telenor to Telia, all employees with mobile subscriptions, paid by UiB, must change SIM cards in the mobile phone in accordance with the change in operator.
New SIM cards are sent to all departments and will be distributed to the users. Telia will send you a SMS with the time of porting of your subscription. This is sent approx. one week in advance.
Please note the following points:
- Your Telenor subscription will stop working from the porting date.
- Since UiB no longer has an agreement with Telenor, we can make no exceptions to the porting.
- Telia coverage/service, indoors at the different locations, will come in time for porting.
