Setting up VPN in Mac OSX 10.4 (Tiger)

1. Start the program Internet Connect. From the File menu choose "new VPN-connection"

2. Select PPTP

3. Type:
   vpn-student.uib.no  or vpn-ansatt.uib.no (the last for employees) 
   username@student.uib.no or username@uib.no (the last for employees, both: replace "username" with your user name) 
   your password

4. Click connect.
   When you close Internet Connect you will be asked to name the connection. Give it whatever name you would like.
