All staff and students at UiB get an email account when creating a UiB user account.
Email can be read in several ways:
- UiB computers with a standard setup from the IT department have Thunderbird or Outlook as default email client. These receive information about the name, user name ande email address for the logged on user.
- Private PCs can be set up manually with IMAP or POP.
- In the web browser (Mozilla, Internet Explorer, Opera, etc.) you can go to webmail.uib.no or Outlook Web Access (OWA). You need a user account on the Exchange system to use OWA. (Check whether you have.)
