If you do not find the IT help or information you need in our web pages, you may contact our user support.

Please also note our service declaration.

Students

Students may report user support requests in two ways:

PC helpers at UiB's PC rooms: For information (in Norwegian) about PC rooms, try the link in the bottom right menu in the IT information in UiBs public student portal. or Web: http:// bs.uib.no.

Employees

Employees may contact our service desk BRITA:

Note: Before you call our service desk we ask you to have this information available:

  • Your UiB user name
  • Your computer's name: (hint for users with UiB Windows computers: START - SUPPORT - SHOW COMPUTER INFO)
  • Your computers IP adress: (See e.g. in the footer of this page.)
  • If you have already an issue for the same problem, please report the issue number from last contact with us.
