To change the name of a file on a Mac do the following:
1 Choose file
Locate the file you want to rename<BR\>
2 Hold down the [CMD]-key and click on the file name
Select "Get Info" from the menu that pops up<BR\>
In the "Name and extension", enter the new name. Finish by pressing "Enter" on your keyboard or click on one of the other fields in the window<BR\>
