| This means that all users who have not changed their password since the beginning of October 2009 are required to change their password.

| If you have changed your password since 1st October, 2009, you will not have to change it again yet.

| On 25th January, 2010, an e-mail will be sent to all users who must change their password.

| In February we will send reminders to all users who have not changed their password.

| After 22nd March, permission to UiB's IT resources will be denied for those still holding an old password.

| After this date, it will still be possible to restore access by changing the password on sebra.it.uib.no

| If you are using a laptop set up by the IT department, you must be physically connected to the UiB network with a network cable when changing your password.

| If you use a mobile phone or other mobile devices to read e-mail or calendar, you must remember to make the corresponding password change.

| If not, you may find that your UiB user account is locked because the device tries to log on several times with your old password.
