VPN configuration in Mac OS X Tiger

Setting up VPN in Mac OSX 10.4 (Tiger)

Start the program Internet Connect. From the File menu choose "new VPN-connection"

Select PPTP

Type: vpn-student.uib.no or vpn-ansatt.uib.no (the last for employees) username@student.uib.no or username@uib.no (the last for employees, both: replace "username" with your user name) your password

Click connect. When you close Internet Connect you wilkl be asked for a neme for the connection. "VPN UiB" would not be so silly, and then it should work
